Clara Harte‘s nerves are at her. Be nice. Two sleeps, Clara, TWO SLEEPS!!!

Have you taken part in THE 24 HOUR PLAYS before?
No this is a first for me.
What is the most memorable dramatic experience you have had, and why?
I just graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in July last year and I remember the seconds just before stepping out on stage in our final showcase: the nerves, the expectation of the last two years of your life somehow ‘clicking’ together in the moments to follow and the general excitement around the whole thing. Some of the most memorable minutes of my life. Also getting to perform a newly commissioned short scene by Mark O’Rowe, one of my favorite writers, was pretty special.
When did you first know you wanted to be involved in the performing arts?
There was no real eureka moment for me. I was always putting on shows, performing for anyone who would listen as a child. It wasn’t until I was about 15 that I realized I can do this as a job! So I joined acting classes in Cork city and have been at it ever since.
Who (living or dead) would you most like to work with?
The power pair that is Enda Walsh & Cillian Murphy, maybe it’s a Cork thing, then again….
Tell us a little about your next big project.
At the moment, I’m working on developing some pieces I’ve written, one stage, one short film.
What are you anticipating the most about THE 24 HOUR PLAYS?
The Abbey stage is big, how big the Abbey stage is.
Sum up your feelings about THE 24 HOUR PLAYS in five words or less!
