Another #24HrDub novice, Nuala Hayes, brings a wealth of other experience to this year’s show.

Introduce yourself please. You can even describe yourself as if you are being introduced as a guest facilitator at a DYT workshop.
I am an actor, a storyteller and sometimes an Independent radio producer.
Have you participated in The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin Youth Theatre before? If yes what is your fondest/ most nightmare causing memories? If no what are you looking forward to/ terrified of?
Looking forward to the challenge of working with so many young people I have never met. The enjoyment of playing and not being afraid to fail or fall. The fun of it. The sheer madness and aliveness of it all.
If you could give your teenage self a piece of advice what would it be?
Say No more often.
What theatrical experience has had the biggest impact on you?
Playing Maire in the first production of Brian Friel’s great play ‘Translations’ at the Guildhall in Derry when the war was at its height in 1980.
Describe the craziest costume you have ever worn.
Playing a secretary in a play as Gaeilge by Críostoir O’Floinn at the Peacock Theatre some time during the sexist 1960’s wearing a bikini with tights underneath! See Mad Men if you don’t believe it!
Don’t miss Nuala Haye’s contribution to The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin supported by BNP Paribas Real Estate. Book your ticket now and see you on January 31 in the Abbey Theatre.
