Next up this week is Raymond Keane, founder director of Barabbas Theatre Company. You can find out more about Raymond here including a video of him performing in Game of Thrones.

Introduce yourself please. You can even describe yourself as your granny would.
I am a clown – clown is not all I am and everything I am.
Have you participated in The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin Youth Theatre before? If yes what is your fondest/ most nightmare causing memories? If no what are you looking forward to/ terrified of?
I have not participated in DYT’s 24 hour plays but was overall director to “The Big Green Apple” 10 X10 Plays – a collaboration between Attic Studio (Dublin) and Origin’s 1st Irish Festival (New York) which took a similar format. I look forward to performing in DYT’s 24 Hour plays without any fear and that makes me terrified.
If you could change one thing about theatre in Ireland what would it be? Woah! #Deep
Diminish self-censorship.
What if your favourite app and why?
Hasn’t been invented but if it had it would be a Compass – an Emotional Compass. [I take back my “Woah! #Deep” on the previous question and I’ll just leave it here.]
Stage or screen? Why?
Stage. Because there is nowhere to hide as a performer or an audience member and that’s exhilarating.
Don’t miss Raymond Keane’s contribution to The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin supported by BNP Paribas Real Estate. Book your ticket now and see you on January 31 in the Abbey Theatre.
