Dani Galligan knows when we're at our most vulnerable. About 3pm this #24HrDub Sunday.

We caught up with Dani Galligan and made her look deep into her soul with our soul searching questions. Well, at least we made her Google herself which you couldn’t, wouldn’t, shouldn’t have done in our day but how and ever…

So Dani – where can we find you online?

I had never googled myself. [Googles herself.] Now I have. I’m disappointed.

Introduce yourself please.

An astrology book once described me as tactless, reckless and confused.

Have you participated in The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin Youth Theatre before? If yes what is your fondest/ most nightmare causing memories? If no what are you looking forward to/ terrified of?

Nope but I’m looking forward to much divilment and probably much trauma. Oh the trauma.

If you took a notion to write a play what element would you definitely include and why?

I would involve a tragic hero pulling a push door or running for public transport. I feel this is when we’re at our most vulnerable.

Dublin Youth Theatre is finally moving house. If you were moving and were only allowed bring one piece of clothing and one book with you, what would they be?

My reindeer onesie and my little black book containing the names of my enemies.

Have you worked with children or animals? How did that work out for ya?

I try to avoid cute, small things because I want to squish them so badly that they die.

You best stay away from Nichola’s new Westie so. Too darn cute!

If you would like to see what divilment Dani gets up at The 24 Hour Plays in aid of Dublin Youth Theatre supported by BNP Paribas Real Estate then book your ticket from the Abbey ASAP!
